Randy was on the Rebel newspaper staff with me. He was always a cheerful person. We played tennis together at that old park on Greenwood (forgive my memory lapse but I have not been there in 25 years). The courts weren't too good, but neither was I. Randy beat me basically every time but of course that made me get a lot better at tennis. The funniest thing I remember about Randy was how many soft drinks -- I think Dr. Pepper -- he would drink in the course of a day. Hilarious.
