Terry Harris Spence, 55, of Fayetteville, AR, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Willard Walker Hospice Home. Terry was born Jan. 5, 1957 in Ft. Smith, AR, to parents Bob Harris and Rae Francis (Hightower) Harris.

Terry is survived by her father, Bob Harris, of Ft. Smith, AR, a son, Jonathon Spence, of Fayetteville, AR, brother Jeff Harris and wife Sara, of Bella Vista, AR, and sister Connie Alexander and husband Randy, of Ft. Smith, AR., as well as three nieces and three nephews, and 3 great-nieces and 2 great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother.

A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Willard Walker Hospice Home, 325 East Longview Street, Fayetteville, Arkansas, and to the AHIMSA Rescue Foundation, PO Box 409, Muldrow, Oklahoma, 74948.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.

Terry had cancer and passed away on August 26, 2012.  She had a son, Jonathon who lives in Fayetteville.  Terry fought the disease with the grace you would expect if you knew her.  She is missed by many.
