Elise was a beautiful person who accomplished much in her short lifetime. She was always a bright spot in my life, from our days in the "Dixie Belles" to rooming together at UofA, to catching up with her on my visits back to Fort Smith.

She is deeply missed by so many, including me.

I knew Elise from church (First Pres) and saw her there more than at school, probably.  But in connection with the church we spent a lot of time together, along with other classmates too numeous to mention (but let me try to name some), Ken Knight, Larry Jackson, Kim Hanna, Lisa Haupert, and Susie Warner. She was a wonderful person, and the story of her sudden death was a shock.
