Phillip Burns

I was lucky enough to get a job with ABF Freight in 1978. I managed to get my degree in business and moved up through the company to my present position. I oversee the payables system for ABF. Along with that I've been lucky to participate in the complete design of a computerized imaging workflow system for ABF. But, as of March 2017 i decided to hang it up and retire. I figured 39 years was long enough! Now I do a lot of baby sitting with my 2 yr old grandson. Sometimes that feels like a second job!

Let's see, bomb threats called in every day right after lunch and during English class! That was fun for the first few days until I realized all the make up work we were accumulating! Not so fun after that!
